Pre-purchase inspections
Eastern Pest Control recommends Pre-purchase Timber Pest Inspections as an ideal service for those considering purchasing a new home.
| Termites cause more damage to Australian homes than natural disasters or any other damage, and their presence is almost impossible for the untrained eye to detect until the damage has become extensive. |
Our service fully meets the inspection requirements of the relevant Australian Standards and every inspection is performed by an accredited termite inspector. All access arrangements are made by the office staff at Eastern Pest Control, who contact the Real Estate Agent and arrange access to the site. A verbal report is given to you on the day and a detailed typed report follows in the mail or on line.
| The only way to detect the presence of termites before extensive damage has been done is a Timber Pest Inspection to Australian Standard AS4349.3 carried out by an experienced, qualified and licensed contractor. |
Independent data compiled by State Forests shows 1 in every 5 homes is attacked by termites at some stage in its life, however CSIRO data indicates that it could be as high as 1 in 3. Australia's subterranean termite species (white ants) are the most destructive termites in the world. In fact it can take as little as 3 months for a termite colony to severely damage almost all the timber in a home.
We have many satisfied customers who have used our services when deciding to purchase their new home, and found our report and advice to be very helpful in giving them all the information they need to make a very important decision.
Your report will include:
- detailed information explaining the causes
